Igor Gehenot
Belgian pianist and composer born in Liège, Igor Gehenot is an essential figure in the European jazz scene. Trained at the conservatories of Maastricht and Brussels, he made a mark in 2012 with his first albumRoad Story, awarded best album of the year by the prestigious British magazineJazzwise.
Winner of a Sabam Jazz Award and an Octave de la Musique, he captivates with an elegant style where melodic lyricism meets rhythmic precision. A regular on the world's biggest stages (from London to Santiago de Chile), he returns here to the very essence of club jazz.
