Before the official start of its 25th edition, the Dinant Jazz Festival invites the public to a launch evening at Infinity La Merveilleuse on July 21, 2026.
On the occasion of the Belgian National Day, this iconic location perched on the heights of Dinant will welcome festival-goers in an exceptional setting, with breathtaking views of the Meuse valley and the fireworks planned for the end of the evening.
Between music, friendliness, and a summer atmosphere, this event will mark the start of the festival celebrations.
A festive programme to celebrate 21st July
To accompany this special evening, the Dinant Jazz Festival has invited John Player Speciaal, an iconic figure of the Benelux alternative music scene.
For over thirty years, this DJ, known for his eclecticism, has been crafting sets that seamlessly blend funk, soul, disco, jazz, and house. His musical selection will set the tone for this celebration of the National Day in a friendly and festive atmosphere, perfect for kicking off the festivities of this 25th edition.
