Julian Lage

Virtuoso guitarist and one of the most unique composers of his generation, Julian Lage has made a name for himself on the international jazz scene through the finesse of his playing and his deeply melodic approach to improvisation. A child prodigy, he caught attention at a very young age, even performing at the Grammy Awards at just 12 years old, before developing a career rich in prestigious collaborations, notably with Gary Burton and John Zorn.

Prolific leader, he has built a critically acclaimed discography since Sounding Point in 2009, exploring a universe at the crossroads of jazz, folk, and American music.

More recently, his albums released on Blue Note, such as Squint or View with a Room, confirm an increasingly personal style and an essential place on international stages.
