Larry Grenadier
Born in San Francisco, bassist Larry Grenadier is a major figure in contemporary jazz, known for the depth of his sound and his exceptional sense of interaction. Revealed in the 1980s alongside musicians such as Joe Henderson and Stan Getz, he quickly established himself on the New York scene. A key member of Brad Mehldau's trio since 1995, he has also collaborated with leading artists such as Pat Metheny, Joshua Redman, and John Scofield.

His subtle and melodic playing redefines the role of the double bass in modern jazz. Alongside his numerous collaborations, he develops personal projects such as the trio Fly or his solo album The Gleaners.
