Tutu Puoane
Originally from South Africa and based in Antwerp since 2004, singer Tutu Puoane is an essential figure in contemporary jazz, honoured with several South African Music Awards. She became known in Europe through her prestigious collaborations with ensembles such as the Brussels Jazz Orchestra and the Metropole Orkest, as well as her successful duo with Belgian pop star Bart Peeters.

His recent news is marked by the ambitious project "Wrapped In Rhythm," produced by the legendary Larry Klein. This diptych sets the poetry of Lebo Mashile to music: the first part, released in 2024, won three major awards at the South African Jazz Awards, while the second volume, recorded with the Metropole Orkest, was released in September 2025.

Between these two performances, she confirmed her immense popularity in Belgium by participating in a series of twenty sold-out concerts at the Lotto Arena in Antwerp.
